Silom is an indie jewelry brand founded in 2019 by designers Jitwaree & Pablo Echegoyen and based in the Silom district of Bangkok.

The district is the heart of silver and jewelry making in Thailand and a major international hub for gemstones and jewelry. This is where talented craftsmen manufacture the brand's pieces.

Silom approaches jewelry as a search for the minimum, throughout the process of creation, from ideation to manufacturing. This idea manifests itself in essential, timeless pieces, uncluttered by adornments.

After graduating in Marketing from the Ramkhamhaeng University and obtaining her MBA, Jitwaree went on to study jewelry design and gemstones at Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences in Bangkok. During many years, Jitwaree created haute jewelry pieces for clients in Southeast Asia and around the world.

Pablo studied product design at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco and at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milano. After returning to Switzerland he co-founded the design and architecture agency MASKIN.

Jitwaree and Pablo meet in 2016 in Switzerland, relocated to Bangkok in 2018 and launched Silom in 2019. They now live and work in Silom, between the street-food stalls and the skyscrapers of the central business district.

Silom opened its first store in February 2019 in Siam Center, in downtown Bangkok and the website silom.cc was launched in March with the "Mini Shop" featuring a selection of the brand's top pieces.

In April 2019, Silom was selected to be part of the Designer's Room, an exclusive group comprising the top young Thai fashion brands and supported by Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion. As part of the Designer's Room, Silom will have the opportunity to exhibit its jewelry around the world, in venues such as the Milan Design Week, Paris' Maison & Objet and the Los Angeles Fashion Week.
